Track of the Week: Polyphonic Spree, Light and Day
Watching a video of these guys performing, I'd really, really like to be able to mock them and their dopily-grinning, sweaty-granola, Manson-Family-meets-Mormon-Tabernacle-Choir-meets-a-boatload-of-Ecstasy hippie aesthetic. But you know, after an exhausting week of constantly changing deadlines and deliverables, damned if I don't sort of want to pick up a tambourine and dingle along.

I agree...It feels so wrong to like them, but I just can't help it. Its like a acid fueled church choir.

Don't believe I have. What label does he usually record on? Would you recommend him?

We saw them open for David Bowie in Toronto. I agree -- you want to resent them, but they're too much fun. Check out the fun Flash game where you have to rescue the band!
